Currently we have a large range of well known international artists working in LA Make-Up, coming from all over the world such as Los Angeles, Africa, New Zealand, Lebanon, Italy and the United Kingdom, offering LA Make-Up students a different array of cultures and techniques. The LA Tutor Team includes some of the world’s best known artists such as the infamous Maurice Stein owner and founder of Cinema Secrets, Burbank, Joe Rossi, he is one of Hollywoods leading make-up artists in the television and entertainment industry having worked as head of the make-up department on the Warner Brothers/Farrell Brothers’ feature Osmosis Jone, UK’s very own Astrid Kearney, Astrid is an amazing artist known within the industry for her renowned fashion and beauty work having worked with magazines such as Vogue, Baazar and Harpers & Queens to name but a few. Renowned in their fields, our tutors share their knowledge and experience in order to develop the talent of the next generation.

• Professional Courses

LA Make-Up Academy offer a wide range of full and part time modules to cater for all levels. These include introductory courses for beginners seeking to learn more about technique and application, through to a highly intensive degree course devised for those who wish to pursue a career as a make-up artist. The curriculum covers training across all make-up disciplines including shows, photography, TV, film and theatre. Our students work with top make-up brands including Mac, Bobbi Brown, Make-Up Forever and The Body Shop and avail of heavy discounts for their own purchases of these brands. Degree students also have the option to complete part of their training with a placement in London or New York offering an unrivalled opportunity to enhance their education and broaden their experience in two of the fashion capitals of the world.

Our diverse portfolio of courses now includes fashion styling and students are taught by expert tutors, who have specialist experience in all aspects of the fashion industry including styling, design, publicity and editorial. Courses also benefit from internationally recognized guest speakers.

We offer an open door policy, allowing all of our students to re-sit modules of their choice - in this competitive industry, it helps if students have the flexibility to take time out to secure work placements and seize opportunities as they arise. We do everything possible to facilitate these opportunities.

• Advanced Training & Complimentary Skills

A number of advanced and specialist seminars are available for professional make-up artists seeking to add new and diverse skills to their portfolios in areas such as airbrushing and prosthetic make-up. Students can also benefit from training in complimentary skills, to broaden their appeal within the industry. For example, a make-up artist may wish to undertake some hair training in order to be able to offer clients a broader service. We offer training in business management, designed to help aspiring make-up artists understand the role of sales, marketing and finance in their business.

• Agency & Career Placement

The Academy also incorporates an agency division whose purpose is to provide career counseling, to secure work placements for artists-in-training and to place qualified make-up artists in positions.

• Make Up & Beauty Services for the General Public

Our services for the general public are focused on transferring the years of knowledge and insider information our experts have accumulated. We offer a range of services to the public including hair and make-up styling, make-up lessons, wardrobe consultations and bridal styling packages. Many of these services are available in the client's own home.

Wardrobe styling links clients with the country's top stylists, helping to instantly update or transform a look. Our hair and make-up classes offer practical advice on how to achieve that salon or studio finish in your own home, with looks ranging from chic and professional, effortlessly stylish to high end glamour.

And to record the results, our Ultimate Photoshoot offers clients a professional photography session to capture the new looks forever.

Throughout the year, we host a series of one-day Make-Up Masterclasses in a number of locations These classes offer intensive tuition arming students with expert application know-how and insider tips and techniques from the professionals.

Our Dublin studio also boasts a leading edge Brow Bar. Described as a "temple to the perfectly arched brow", the Brow Bar offers tweezing, tinting and the highly specialised brow threading service from a team of experts.

Now new to our studios, is the "LA Lash Bar". Boasting a large variety of false lashes, LA lash bar will take your look to the next level in the blink of an eye!

• Wedding Services

LA White is a specialist division, established to cater exclusively to the very specific needs of bridal parties. We offer a complete service covering make-up, hair and styling, ensuring that clients receive expert advice from the industry's foremost wedding professionals. Through our exclusive LA White affiliate programme, we also offer clients a referral service to the best in the wedding business including event managers, dress designers, photographers, florists, venues and jewellers.

We eschew a "yellow pages" approach to wedding planning; instead ensuring our clients receive a bespoke service, developed specifically for their needs and their vision of the perfect wedding.
